Let's take a quick look at who's up, who's down, and what's shaking in the Facial Skin Care category on Amazon.

Total year-to-date sales in the Facial Skin Care category hit $518M on Amazon US as of this reporting (September 22, 2018) — that's up 27% from this time last year.

You couldn't walk through a brick-and-mortar retail store this year without noting the explosion of face mask options in the personal care section. So, too, with Amazon. Face Treatments & Masks is the leading subcategory, with sales up 20% year-over-year on Amazon US. (Here at Stackline, we like hydrate and energize.)

Every top-grossing subcategory is growing, so which brands are seizing market share and putting their best face forward? CeraVe leads the pack in year-to-date sales, but TruSkin Naturals has the highest year-over-year sales growth to date.

Getting down to the product-level, we're seeing organic, vitamin-infused serums and moisturizers topping the sales charts.
