2020 Year in Review

In a year of uncertainty, we are grateful for the support from our customers and partners and the hard work of our team members. With your continued support and valuable feedback, we released powerful product updates, formed critical partnerships with new brands and retailers and raised our first ever round of capital. These accomplishments further our commitment as the all-in-one e-commerce growth engine our customers (and future customers) need to thrive in today's competitive environment.

Now for a recap of the year's highlights:

AD MANAGER

We launched our third product, Ad Manager. Ad Manager utilizes powerful advertising technology to create, execute, and optimize campaigns on leading e-commerce platforms, saving advertisers hours of manual work. Six months after launch, Ad Manager was awarded the ‘Best Ad Analytics Solution' by MarTech Breakthrough Awards. Read more.

TOP 100 GAINING & DECLINING CATEGORIES

COVID-19 dramatically shifted the way consumers shop and what they shop for. We reviewed e-commerce sales across the U.S. at the start of the pandemic and compiled a list of the Top 100 gaining & declining categories. Consumers stockpiled toilet paper, canned food and other household cleaning items, but there were several other key takeaways as a result of more time spent at home. Read more.

EXPANSION INTO NEW COUNTRIES AND RETAILERS

We significantly expanded our coverage for Atlas and Beacon, with 8 new countries and 13 new retailers launched in 2020. In addition, we announced an Ad Manager integration with Instacart and Walmart, giving brands the option to fully integrate their campaigns with Ad Manager. $50MM INVESTMENT FROM GOLDMAN SACHS

We received a $50 million investment from Goldman Sachs to accelerate our rapid pace of product innovation, as well as expand our network of brand and retail partners around the globe. This is the first round of capital ever raised. Read more.

TEAM GROWTH

Our employee count grew over 40% to 95 full-time employees across three global offices. We have big plans for the year ahead and are rapidly hiring for roles across all departments. Read more.
