Foundation Wellness streamlined media operations with Stackline, automating bid adjustments and enabling rapid A/B testing across 3 brands and 400+ products. The result: +73% incremental sales, +43% ROAS, and -26% CPC.
The challenge

Foundation Wellness manages a broad portfolio of category-leading foot care brands - including PowerStep, Foot Petals, and Flat Socks - each with unique audiences, product sets, and campaign objectives. But as the brand scaled across Amazon, the demands of manually managing hundreds of ASINs and campaign variables became a barrier to growth. Limited bandwidth left the team focused on execution over experimentation, and campaign management became a drain on strategic resources. "Stackline is how we succeed on Amazon. After utilizing Stackline at my last company, I made Stackline a requirement of hire as I transitioned into my new role at Foundation Wellness," said Nathan Bair, Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing.

With over 400 products in-market, the team needed an advanced solution that could automate complex workflows - from bid optimization to pacing and A/B testing - while still empowering them to test new strategies, iterate on performance, and move fast. The status quo of fragmented tools and manual oversight wasn't just inefficient - it was unsustainable.

The solution

With a growing portfolio of wellness brands and over 400 products to manage, Foundation Wellness turned to Stackline to modernize its media operations - replacing manual workflows with intelligent automation and scalable performance infrastructure.

Stackline Atlas served as the central platform for orchestrating strategy, giving the Foundation Wellness team unified access to performance metrics and SKU-level visibility across brands. With Atlas as the foundation, the team could confidently align spend with business objectives while monitoring performance with precision.

Stackline's AI-powered optimization engine enabled the team to launch advanced dayparting experiments across three brands, uncovering high-efficiency windows for ad spend without requiring manual intervention. These time-based bid strategies, combined with automated pacing and real-time micro-adjustments, allowed Foundation Wellness to continuously test, learn, and adapt - freeing up internal teams to focus on higher-order strategy and creative innovation.

Beacon, Stackline's real-time alerting and monitoring solution, played a critical role in sustaining campaign health. By flagging anomalies and surfacing key performance insights, Beacon allowed the team to stay ahead of underperformance and pivot strategies in real time. In just three months, Stackline executed hundreds of bid optimizations, generating a -26% drop in CPC, a +63% increase in incremental traffic, and a +73% lift in incremental sales.

Overall, the platform delivered a 43% improvement in ROAS, proving that automation and scale don't have to come at the expense of performance. Working in close collaboration with Stackline's Professional Services team, Foundation Wellness received tailored recommendations, executional support, and ongoing performance reviews - amplifying the internal team's capabilities and ensuring sustained impact across all initiatives. "Stackline allows us to spend more time on strategy by automating our day-to-day management. It gives us the flexibility to creatively test scenarios we couldn't otherwise," said Nathan Bair. Stackline is now the brand's core ad management engine - fueling agile growth while enabling data-driven experimentation at scale.
